reclaiming bank charges

HI all, i started to reclaim my bank charges from halifax about 18 months ago and i got the usual reply “we have to wait until the test case” etc,
i have moved house twice since i started to reclaim and have changed address with my bank but do i have to change address with a different dept regarding the charges as i dont have a number etc!!
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
